CoServ Electric holds an annual meeting each year per the terms of our bylaws. Our 2008 meeting was held on June 24 at the University of North Texas Coliseum in Denton. Live entertainment was provided by the Quebe Sisters Band. Members, family, friends, neighbors and CoServ Electric employees enjoyed a barbecue dinner, heard the results of the board of directors’ election and listened to the CEO report. Mike Dreyspring also answered member questions and discussed our plans for the future.

As a member-owned organization, CoServ conducts annual meetings in order to:

• Report information about the status of the cooperative;
• Elect Board of Directors representatives;
• Act upon relevant business items;
• Share strategic goals:
• Answer questions from members.

The annual meeting also gives you a chance to mingle with your neighbors, interact with the CoServ team and meet your Board of Directors representatives. For more information about nominations and the election process, please refer to our bylaws pages 4 through 8.
