Safety is a core tenet at CoServ Electric. Whether powering your home or business, performing service in the field, working with builders and developers, or in our daily tasks at CoServ's headquarters, we provide the safest environment possible for our members, employees and the communities we serve. Quite simply, work begins and ends safely or it isn't performed at all. Here are some of the things we are doing with safety in mind:
- We are actively pursuing safety accreditation from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), an advanced qualification that ensures CoServ complies with all federal, state and local regulations as they apply to our work procedures, vehicles and the work environment.
- CoServ is active within the community, providing first responder education to local police forces, firefighters and paramedics.
- CoServ employees regularly conduct safety demonstrations for member organizations and schools throughout the area.
